There are many schools out there that do offer theater programs, but just like anything else in life, some are much better than others. In fact, many of the actors and actresses you see in Hollywood today went to some of the schools you are getting ready to learn about. The Yale School of Drama
Yale is quite easily one of the best schools to attend if you are interested in theater, as their drama program is second to none and has produced numerous celebrities throughout the years. In fact, you may not know it, but before Lupita N’yongo landed her role as Patsey in 12 Years a Slave, she studied at Yale. Yale graduates have all usually been contacted by an agent within a month of their graduation. Sure, an education at Yale is going to be expensive, but if you land some financial aid or a good scholarship, you’re good to go. Out of pocket, you’ll be paying about $44,000 a year to attend.
