It’s a situation that can be downright maddening if you let it be. Rest assure, this article will give you the answer to calmness.

  • Breathe – Take three deep breaths. Breathing may sound cliche, yet it’s that inhaling and exhaling that actually relaxes your muscles and calms the tension. It also delivers some much needed oxygen to your brain. That’ll give you the boost of power you’ve been looking for.
  • Downtime – Go out for a brisk walk, play a video game, eat with your friends or family and play with your pet. If you freak over this test and study for hours on in, you’ll burn your brain out. Downtime is just what your brain needs to become more focused and capable.
  • Exercise – Getting up and going for a run or hitting the gym is just what your brain needs before the big test. Most students are stressed out and exercise is the perfect cure of this. You’ll be stretching muscles, creating blood flow and reducing body knots. You’ll feel way more relaxed and concentrated when you back to hitting the books.
  • Sleep – Most students opt for all night study session when it comes to the night big before the test. This is actually the worst thing that you can do. Sleep increased your short term memory. It also kills stress. Going for that all night will cause brain fog, depression and add to your anxiety.
