Sometimes there could be nothing worse then waking up in the morning. Maybe you were up until past midnight studying or out with friends and you just don’t feel like you can make it through a whole school day. The end game to a day like this will be to force yourself to stay up throughout your classes. It makes no difference if you drink that morning cup of coffee or not, you’ll eventually crash. It doesn’t have to be like this though. There are ways you can get a fresh start on your day.
Avoid Screens For At Least 15 Minutes
Your alarm will likely go off and then you’ll be forced to look at your phone, sure. Beyond that make sure that you avoid your laptop, phone or checking your emails. Not doing so will result in you feeling like a slave to technology. Instead keep the morning sacred and for yourself. Get ready, eat breakfast and just relax.
Coffee. Most people claim that they just can’t make through a day without it, especially the morning. Swap it for Lemon water. Room temperature water with some lemon squeezed into it has a truck load of benefits. It starts up the metabolism, helps you burn fat and sustains muscles. It also helps keep your teeth and mouth clean. Just make sure that you don’t brush your teeth for at least thirty minutes afterward.
After a night of sleeping and staying in a single position, stretching can help really leave you feeling energized and ready to tackle a new day. You won’t leave the house and feel so drowsy and out of it when you leave for school.
Set Goals For The Day
Instead of just waking up and going through the tired old motions, set yourself some goals for the day. They don’t have to be extreme, but something along the lines of committing to go to the gym for the day or packing your own lunch instead of eating out. These will without doubt syke you up for the up and coming day.
